Dianii Buxton  

Hi my name is Dianii Buxton and I am honored to be joining the Florida Self Directed Care team!  I am so happy to be part of a program that gives people the opportunity to choose their own life’s path. I am a Jacksonville native and very knowledgeable about resources that the city has to offer. I would be more than happy to assist you in working towards and accomplishing your goals. My mission is to  assist you with reaching those goals by linking you with  necessary community resources, advocating on your behalf,  and providing support to you as you develop your own goals.  I truly believe that everyone should have the opportunity to choose their own paths to Recovery.

My educational background is as follows: I graduated from Stanton College Preparatory High School.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Florida. I am currently enrolled in school at New Horizons, completing courses towards Certification in Medical Billing and Coding and Medical Assistant Management. I have been volunteering and working with people with developmental disabilities and mental health disabilities for over eight years.  I have experience working at Metropolitan Developmental Center in Louisiana, Compass Support Coordination in Tennessee, and Mental Health Resource Center in Jacksonville.  I look forward to being part of this grassroots movement!
